Neighbors Bank Neighbor of the Year Contest – Win $20,000 Cash

Know a neighbor whose kindness, generosity and community spirit deserve real recognition? The Neighbors Bank Neighbor of the Year Contest gives one deserving nominee the chance to receive a $20,000 cash Grand Prize. Share their story and help an outstanding neighbor earn a reward worthy of their positive impact.

Limit

• Each eligible nominator may submit up to five (5) nominations, provided each nomination names a different eligible nominee.
• No nominator may submit more than one nomination for the same individual.
• Nominators and nominees must be at least 18 years old or the age of majority in their state of legal residence, whichever is older. The age of majority is 19 in Alabama and Nebraska and 21 in Mississippi.
• Open to legal residents of the fifty (50) United States and District of Columbia, excluding New York and Florida.

How to Enter - Neighbors Bank Neighbor of the Year Contest

Free Online Nomination: Visit https://www.neighborsbank.com/neighbor-of-the-year/ and complete the online nomination form according to the instructions.

• Nominate at least one (1) and no more than five (5) eligible individuals, with each nomination naming a different person.
• Provide a complete and truthful description of the nominee's neighborly actions.
• Acknowledge that the nominee has been informed of the nomination and is an eligible nominee.
• Submit the completed nomination form online.

Random Drawing

This is a judged nomination contest, not a random drawing. Eligible nominations will be reviewed by a Judging Panel and scored based on:

• Positive Impact on Neighbor(s) or Community – 25%
• Alignment with Good Neighbor Values – 20%
• Scope of Impact – 15%
• Frequency and Consistency of Neighborly Actions – 15%
• Evidence and Specific Examples – 15%
• Inspirational or Community-Building Quality – 10%

Approximately ten (10) finalists will be selected on or about September 11, 2026. Public voting will take place from September 14–21, 2026, with one vote per eligible voter per day. The nominee with the most validated votes will be the potential winner, subject to verification. The winner is expected to be announced on or about September 28, 2026.

Potential winners will be notified and must submit required documents within three (3) business days of receiving notification.

Grand Prize

• Number of winners: One (1).
• Cash in the amount of $20,000 in U.S. currency.
• The prize will be paid by check or ACH transfer, at Sponsor's election.
• Individual ARV: $20,000.
