Days Inn’s Best Friends Contest: Win $10K & a Free Trip to Reunite with Your Best Friend

In honor of National Best Friends Day, they’re launching a coast-to-coast casting call for five fabulous bestie duos to become the next Days Inn-siders — their official content-creating, globe-trotting brand ambassadors.

Whether your best friend lives five states away or across the country, this is your golden ticket to reunite in a real-life destination dream. Winners will enjoy an all-expenses-paid weekend escape, complete with roundtrip flights, hotel accommodations, a daily travel stipend, and — drumroll — $10,000 per pair for bringing your story to life on social media.

Your mission? Simple: Live your best weekend. Think: viral content, unforgettable selfies, delicious eats, local hotspots, and the kind of sunshine-filled memories only true besties can make. Days Inn will share your journey across their social media — showcasing how friendship thrives, even across distance.

Limit: Only one entry is allowed per eligible person. The minimum age limit to enter the giveaway is 18.

How to Enter in Days Inn - Days Out with The Bestie Contest:

During the Contest Period, eligible Participants must submit their Entry via email to [email protected], following the guidelines outlined below. By submitting an Entry, the Participant confirms they are eligible and agree to abide by the Official Rules. Only one Entry is allowed per Participant, Nominee, or Entrant Pair.

Submission Methods

Participants may choose one of the following two methods to submit their Entry:

Short Video via Email

Participants may submit an original video featuring themselves and their bestie that describes their dream “days out” reunion and explains why they are the perfect pair to represent the Days Inn-sider experience. Videos may be submitted in one of the following formats:

• As an email attachment (MP4 format, file size under 20MB is recommended)
• As a publicly accessible link via Dropbox, BOX, OneDrive, or similar cloud storage
• As a link to a public post on a social media platform such as YouTube, Facebook, TikTok, Instagram, or X

If submitted via a social media link, the post must include the hashtag #contestentry and comply with the platform’s content guidelines and terms of use.

Short Essay via Email

As an alternative to the video, Participants may submit a short essay (minimum 50 words) via email to [email protected]. The essay must describe what a dream “days out” reunion would look like and explain why they are the ideal duo to bring the Days Inn-sider experience to life.

The essay submission must also include one original photo, either of the Participant with their bestie or an image that showcases their love of travel.

Win $10K with Days Inn’s Best Friends Contest Judging & Winner Selection:

Entries will be judged by a panel of three judges based on:

1. Passion for travel and U.S. trip plans (1/3)
2. Friendship story and reunion plans (1/3)
3. Overall quality of the entry (1/3)

Round 1 (around July 11, 2025): Top 10 entries will be chosen and contacted for a live video interview.

Round 2: Finalists must complete their interviews by July 18, 2025. Judges will assess authenticity, enthusiasm, and ability to share their journey online.

Five winners will be selected around July 25, 2025. In case of a tie or unavailability, alternates may be chosen. Judges’ decisions are final.

Days Inn $10K Bestie Contest Prizes:

Each winning entrant pair will receive an award package valued at approximately $12,600, which includes:

• $10,000 cash total per pair for completing all contest obligations
  • Paid in two installments:
    • $5,000 before the trip ($2,500 per person)
    • $5,000 after completion of required services ($2,500 per person)
  • Two nights’ lodging at Days Inn® by Wyndham (one double-occupancy room) (ARV: $500 per pair)
• $2,000 travel stipend per pair to cover transportation, meals, and activity costs
• Days Inn swag for sharing (approx. value: $100)
• Wyndham Rewards Diamond status upgrade for one year (for both individuals)

Total ARV per winning pair: $12,600
