Taking place during D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event, this Disney cosplay contest is your chance to showcase your creativity across worlds—from Disney classics and Pixar to Marvel, Star Wars, The Muppets, and beyond. Whether you’re crafting a solo masterpiece or teaming up for a full cast of characters, this is where passion meets performance.

Selected finalists will be invited to compete LIVE on stage for a chance to win up to $2,300 in prizes, along with special honors like the Audience Choice Award and the Innovation & Technology Prize. It’s more than a costume competition—it’s your opportunity to be recognized for artistry, storytelling, and creativity in front of a true Disney fan community.

Limit: One entry is allowed per category. The minimum age limit to enter the giveaway is 18. 

How to Enter in D23 Mousequerade Disney Costume Contest:

Entry Period: March 26, 2026 to April 24, 2026

To participate, visit the official sweepstakes website at mousequerade.d23.com.

Complete and submit the online entry form with your required details, including your full name, email address, and mailing information. You must also upload 3 to 5 images of your costume design along with a title, short description, materials used, and other requested details.

If entering as a group, one person must submit the entry on behalf of all members and include each member’s information.

All entries must follow the format requirements and be submitted during the entry period to be eligible.

Disney Costume Contest Winner Selection:

Judging & Finalist Selection:

Finalist Judging Period: April 25, 2026 to May 14, 2026

Entries will be judged based on

• Creativity/Originality (50%)
• Craftsmanship (30%)
• Use of Materials (10%)
• Innovation/Technology (10%)

The top 20 Single entries and top 10 Group entries with the highest scores will be selected as Finalists. Tie-breakers will be determined by highest scores in Creativity, then Craftsmanship, and if needed, re-judging. Finalists must meet eligibility requirements and confirm participation.

Finalist Notification:

Finalist Notification and Verification: May 15, 2026 to May 29, 2026

Potential Finalists will be notified on or about May 15, 2026, via email and must return required documents within three days or risk disqualification.

Winner Selection:

Winner Judging Period: August 15, 2026 to August 15, 2026

Finalists will be judged at the event based on multiple criteria including craftsmanship, originality, storytelling, and presentation, along with audience voting. Winners will be selected based on highest scores, with tie-breakers applied if needed. Judges’ and Sponsor’s decisions are final.

• Each winner will win two General Admission One-Day Tickets to attend the Finalist Event at the Anaheim Convention Center on August 15, 2026. (ARV: $198 for each).
