2011 Markham Vineyards Markham Mark of Distinction Contest

Difficulty Level : Moderate ( 2 out of 5 ) Since last three years, Markham Vineyards has supported those individuals or organizations that have dream to make their community a better place through Mark of Distinction program. This year Markham Vineyards also continues its philanthropic activity. Every year, Markham Vineyards helps to two community-based initiatives for making a ‘Mark of Distinction’ in their neighborhood, town or city by granting $25,000. Now it's your turn, join today 2011 Markham Vineyards Mark of Distinction to win $25,000.

Limit: Enter as many times as you want but every entry must be unique and submitted separately. Age of 21 years or older is compulsory at the time of entry.

There are two ways available for contest entry. You can use any one way to be eligible for this contest.

Online way: During the contest period, visit www.MarkhamMarkofDistinction.com and register at its nomination page. Once registered, you will receive mail including one-time login password and entry form link. So complete your online entry form with all mandatory information and your unique entry essay regarding why the philanthropic activity/organization should be awarded the $25,000 prize money to help implement and/or expand and/or complete a community-based project in maximum 300-word with uploading your project plan and brief budget of $25,000.

Mail way: You can also enter into the contest by mail. You have to mail your completed entry in a business-size envelope of no larger than #10 with sufficient postage affixed to: 2011 Markham Mark of Distinction Contest/Marina Maher Communications/830 Third Avenue/New York, NY 10022. Your mail entry must be on a plain piece of paper with hand written information such as your first and last name, street address, city, state, zip, date of birth in this format: mm/dd/yyyy, e-mail address plus daytime and evening telephone numbers with area code, as well as your unique project essay with budget. Your mail entry should be delivered by August 5, 2011.

From all received entry essays, up to 10 finalists’ essays and budget will be showcased at website for voting between August 29 and October 3, 2011. Website visitors will be invited to cast their vote for their favorite, most impactful and feasible project essay. Each day just one vote can be casted per e-mail address.

Two grand prizes will be awarded to two finalists’ essays who receive the highest votes. Grand prize winners will be awarded $25,000 to complete their project that outlined in the winning essays. As initial, $5,000 will be given to winner and remaining cash will be given after confirming essay.
