Intuit Small Business Hero Giveaway: Nominate a Business to Win a $20,000 Grant

The Intuit QuickBooks & Mailchimp Small Business Hero Program Giveaway celebrates those businesses by offering an opportunity to recognize their impact and support their growth with meaningful resources.

This inspiring program invites nominations for outstanding small businesses that go above and beyond for their customers, employees, and communities. Selected winners will receive a $20,000 grant designed to help fuel business expansion, innovation, and long-term success.

In addition to financial support, winners gain access to valuable tools and business resources from Intuit QuickBooks and Mailchimp — two trusted platforms known for helping entrepreneurs streamline operations, strengthen marketing strategies, and grow their brand presence.

The Small Business Hero Program shines a spotlight on entrepreneurs who make a difference every day. By recognizing their dedication and providing powerful support, this opportunity helps small businesses continue building stronger communities and inspiring future success stories.

Limit: Up to five business nominations per person during the Contest Period. The minimum age limit to enter the giveaway is 18.

How to Enter in Intuit QuickBooks and Mailchimp Small Business Hero Program Sweepstakes:

During the Contest Period, visit quickbooks.intuit.com/offers/small-business-hero-program, complete the registration form with full name, valid email address, confirm you are 18+, and agree to the Official Rules. Then submit nominee details including business name, city/state, website/social links, business owner’s name and email, and a 50–300-word original submission (in English) explaining how the business shows courage, perseverance, integrity, and community impact. Submissions must follow content guidelines and requirements.

Small Business Hero Program Giveaway Winner Selection:

After the conclusion of each Phase, a panel of qualified judges will review all eligible Submissions and determine three highest-scoring Submissions. The Nominee featured in each of the three highest-scoring Submissions per Phase will be deemed a Potential Winner.

Submissions will be evaluated based on the following judging criteria:

• Community Impact (60%) – The Nominee demonstrates courage, perseverance, and integrity within their community.
• Nominator’s Passion (40%) – The Submission clearly expresses strong passion and support for the Nominee.

Winner Requirements

The Business Owner associated with each Potential Winner will be notified via email. To claim the prize, the Business Owner must sign and return a Declaration of Compliance, Liability Waiver, and, where permitted, Publicity Release.

Small Business Hero Program Sweepstakes Prizes:

Prizes (12 Total)

Three Prizes will be awarded per Phase.

Each Prize includes:

• $20,000 cash award to help run and grow the Business;
• One Instagram post on @quickbooks (ARV: $3,000);
• One Instagram post on @mailchimp (ARV: $4,000);
• One feature on the QuickBooks Blog (ARV: $500);
• Twelve months of QuickBooks Online Advanced (ARV: $2,208); and
• Twelve months of Mailchimp Standard Marketing Plan (Tier 100,000 contacts) (ARV: $9,600).
