The eligible entrants should be 18 years or older at the time of entry. There is a limit of up to 3 Entries per person/per email address.

How to Enter You Bet Your Life Economy Joke Contest

Prospective entrants are invited to visit youbetyourlife.com/economy and follow the online instructions to submit their original joke about the economy. Then complete the following information: first name, last name, daytime telephone number, email address, and agree/confirm the following via a checkbox:

• he/she is eighteen (18) years of age or older and a U.S. resident;
• he/she has the rights to submit the Joke;
• he/she grants to the Sponsor the irrevocable, non-exclusive right to use or distribute his/her Joke;
• his/her Joke complies with the requirements described in the Official Rules, and
• he/she agrees to abide by these Official Rules and Sponsor’s Terms of Use.

After successfully submitting the Entry Information, said entrant will then receive 1 entry to be judged in the Contest. If an entrant submits more than 1 Entry (maximum of 3 Entries) each Joke must be different from any previously submitted Joke.

You Bet Your Life Economy Joke Contest Winner Selection

All eligible Jokes will be judged between January 10, 2022, and February 10, 2022, according to the following judging criteria and scoring system:

1. Humor based on a point system of 1 – 35;
2. Originality based on a point system of 1 – 35;
3. Length (the shorter the Joke, the better) based on a point system of 1 – 30

Up to 10 entrants who received the highest scores based on the Judging Criteria will be declared the potential “Winners”.

10 Prizes: Each Winner will receive a $1,000 cash prize awarded in the form of a check made out in the Winner’s name. The total ARV of all prizes: $10,000.
