Introducing the 2026 edition of the beloved Gerber Photo Search - Behind the Baby. This special celebration shines a light not only on your little one, but on you — the parent, the cheerleader, the comforter, the everyday hero behind every smile.

Gerber invites families to share a photo and short written submission capturing a favorite, heartfelt moment with their child. Whether it’s sweet, silly, chaotic, or tender, every memory tells a story worth celebrating.

Participants have the opportunity to win $50,000 or $10,000 in cash prizes, in partnership with Gerber Childrenswear. It’s more than a photo contest — it’s a tribute to the love, effort, and everyday magic you create.

Because behind every baby’s smile is a parent making moments matter.

Limit: There is a limit of one entry per person. The minimum age limit to enter the giveaway is 18.

How to Enter in Gerber 2026 Photo Search Contest:

Step 1: Create Your Entry

To enter, you must:

• Take a photo of your Eligible Child (taken by you or an immediate family member during the Entry Period).
• Write a short story/essay about the moment in the photo and explain what makes it joyful and special in celebrating parenthood.

The entry form, photo, and written submission together make up your “Entry.”

Entries will automatically be placed into one of two categories based on the child’s age:

• Baby Category: 0–36 months
• Get’ems! Category: 37–60 months

Step 2: Submit Your Entry

• Visit photosearch.gerber.com during the Entry Period.
• Complete the entry form.
• Upload your photo and written submission. 

Gerber Photo Search Contest Winner Selection:

Winner selection takes place in three judging phases by a panel selected by Gerber, including Gerber and Nestlé employees and contractors.

Phase 1 – Initial Review (March–April 2026)

Entries are reviewed to ensure they meet all rules (no AI-generated images, no heavy edits, no third-party logos, and no unsafe content).

Approved entries are scored (15 points total) based on:

• Authenticity (5)
• Natural Emotion (5)
• Clarity of Moment (5)

Only entries scoring 14 points move to Phase 2.

Phase 2 – Finalist Selection (March–April 2026)

Entries are scored (30 points total) based on:

• 50% Written Submission
• 50% Overall Impression

Judging criteria include Storytelling, Impact, Cohesion, Emotional Resonance, and more (5 points each).
The top 250 entries per category advance to Phase 3.

Phase 3 – Grand Prize Judging (By May 18, 2026)

Finalists are re-scored (45 points total) based on:

• 35% Photo
• 35% Written Submission
• 30% Overall Impression

The highest-scoring finalist in each category will be contacted around May 18, 2026 and, upon verification, named the Grand Prize Winner.

Gerber 2026 Baby Photo Contest Prizes:

Two Grand Prizes will be awarded — one per Category:

Baby Category Grand Prize (Ages 0–36 Months)

• $50,000 USD check awarded to the winner, made payable to the Eligible Child’s parent(s) or legal guardian(s) who submitted the winning Entry.
• $2,000 in Gerber Childrenswear, awarded via discount codes distributed in four seasonal wardrobe drops over a 12-month period. Seasonal drops are scheduled on or about:
  • April 1, 2026
  • July 1, 2026
  • October 1, 2026
  • January 1, 2027

Get’ems! Category Grand Prize (Ages 37–60 Months)

• $10,000 USD check awarded to the winner, made payable to the Eligible Child’s parent(s) or legal guardian(s) who submitted the winning Entry.
• $500 in Gerber Childrenswear, awarded via a single discount code on or about April 1, 2026.
