Jimmy John’s not only gives fresh sandwiches but also a brand new home. Jimmy John’s is now committed to deliver sandwiches to customers who live within 5 minutes of its stores which means customers outside the Delivery Zone will not get sandwiches straight to their door. So, the company is giving away $250,000 to buy a brand new home in the Delivery Zone to one lucky winner in the Jimmy John’s Home in the Zone Contest. Those who live in a Sandwich delivery zone can enter the sweepstakes to win free sandwiches for a year.

How to Enter

The promotion consists of a contest (for those who live Outside the Delivery Zone) and sweepstakes (for those who live in delivery zone).

Jimmy John’s Home in the Zone Contest

Submission Period (August 12 to October 4)

Visit www.DreamHomeInTheZone.com and click on “Enter Now” button. After that, complete the online entry form and respond to the question “Tell us why you really want to move into a Jimmy John’s Sandwich Delivery Zone” in 250 words or less. You will receive one entry into the Contest.

Random Selection (October 7, 2019):

500 Submissions will be selected via random drawing to progress to Submission Review, Evaluation & Judging.  

Submission Review, Evaluation & Judging:

A Judging Panel will judge all the 500 Submissions based on the following judging criteria   

• Essay Persuasiveness: 40%
• Essay Uniqueness: 40%
• Ability to communicate clearly: 20%

The 10 Submissions with the highest score will be the potential Finalists. The 10 Finalists will be contacted on or about October 25, 2019 to participate in a recorded video conference interview.

Finalist Interviews (October 30 to November 15)

The 10 Finalists will participate in a recorded video conference interview to discuss the Submission in greater detail with the Sponsor or the Sponsor’s designees.

Following the Finalist Interview, the Judging Panel will select one Grand prize winner based on the previous judging results, background check results and the following:

• Finalist’s ability to articulate his or her home purchase-related plans, if selected as the Winner
• Finalist’s overall enthusiasm
• Finalist’s ability to think quickly and formulate responses under pressure
• Feasibility of Finalist’s home purchase-related plans

The Grand Prize Winner will be notified on or about November 20, 2019

(1) Grand Prize: $250,000 towards the purchase of a residential property within a Jimmy John’s delivery zone (ARV: $250,000)
