Win $10000 in Best of the Midwest Recipe Contest
Difficulty Level : Moderate ( 2 out of 5 ) Be prepared to share your favourite delicious unique Best of the Midwest recipe at midwestliving.com/recipecontest. If your recipe will be included in eight finalists, then you will get a chance to prepare your best recipe in a live cook-off event to a showdown for Best of the Midwest title and $10, 000 cash.

Limit: Age of entrant must be 18 or above at the entry time. There is no entry limit specified.

During the contest period, visit midwestliving.com/recipecontest and follow the onscreen instructions to submit your "Best of the Midwest" recipe in one of the required Baking/Desserts and Entry categories with your contact details. In entry form, entrant must include their unique recipe name, the number of servings that the recipe yields, estimated start-to-finish time, all ingredients with measurements in order of use, step-by-step cooking instructions plus a 50 to 100 word description regarding how your recipe reflects the Midwest.

Considering all received submitted recipes, 50 semi-finalists will be qualified as per decided judging criteria in first judgment round. In following second round, 8 finalists will be qualified as per judging criteria and each finalist will be entered in third round where they will receive chance to prepare their best Midwest recipe in a live cook-off event at Silver Dollar City in Branson, Missouri plus a $750 gift card for transportation to/from Branson, 2 nights single occupancy hotel accommodations worth $150, and an $20 valued collection of BBQ sauces, jams, jellies from Silver Dollar City.

At end of the live cook-off event, one grand prize winner will be selected by a qualified panel and winner will be deserved for title of Best of the Midwest Amateur Chef Recipe with $10,000 check.
