Visit www.weather.com/fixup, click on 'enter the contest' option, get registration form, and complete it by providing required information such as name, address, city, state, zip code, email address, upload a current original, unaltered digital color photo showing the theme, and tell about why you deserve a Forecast Fix Up from Ace Hardware and The Weather Channel, then submit it during promotion period.

Four finalists will be selected on the basis of judging criteria such as 25 points for Essay’s Clarity of Written Expression; 25 points for Originality of Problem Described/Depicted; 25 points for Entrant’s articulation, confidence, personality and enthusiasm; and 25 points for Demonstration of the Need for the Makeover. Finalists will be informed on May 5, 2012 by phone and their phone interview will be conducted on or about May 8, 2012.

One Grand prize winner, one First prize winner, one Second prize winner, and one Third prize winner will be selected from four finalists through phone interview on the basis of criteria like 25 points for articulation and confidence; 25 points for Finalist’s ability to speak to a large group of people; 25 points for personality; and 25 points for enthusiasm. Grand prize winner will be contacted on or about May 9, 2012.
