All of us cannot live without Smartphones. We check our email and social media accounts constantly. Vitaminwater has come up with a Scroll Free for a Year challenge for smartphone addicts to ditch their phone for a year to win $100k. The company will give a 1996-era cell phone during contract period.  Just tell the company how you will spend all 365 days of 2019 without a Smartphone.

Limit: You must be at 18 years of age or older at the time of entry. You may submit up to 4 Submissions during the Sweepstakes Period.

How to Enter:

There are 2 ways to enter:

Twitter: Post a creative Tweet on your Twitter Account explaining vitaminwater why you need a break from your Smartphone and how you will spend your year ahead without a Smartphone? Make sure to include hashtags #NoPhoneforaYear and #Contest.

Instagram: Post on your Instagram Account explaining vitaminwater why you need a break from your Smartphone and how you will spend your year ahead without a Smartphone? Make sure to include hashtags #NoPhoneforaYear and #Contest.

Winner Determination:

A panel of qualified judges will judge all the Submissions on the basis of following criteria:

  • Creativity and Originality of Submission (30%)
  • Cultural or Brand Relevance of Submission (30%);
  • Humor of Submission (30%);
  • Quality of Submission (10%)

The highest-scoring Submission will be the Grand Prize Winner.

(1) Grand Prize:

  •  A 1996-era cellular telephone for communication during the contract time period, including a monthly phone plan (ARV: $700)
  • An opportunity to enter into a contract to give up your smartphone for 365 days to win $100,000

If you only last 6 months smartphone-free, you will win $10,000

Note: The winner will have to go through a lie-detector test at the end of the contract period to prove your abstinence.
