Eligibility & Limit:

• One entry per person, per eligible puppy or kitten.
• Age: 18 years or older (19 in Alabama and Nebraska; 21 in Puerto Rico).
• Eligible pets must be under 12 months old at the time of entry (or up to 24 months for large-breed puppies).

How to Enter the Purina Chief Snuggle Officer Contest

To enter the Purina Chief Snuggle Officer Contest, visit purina.com/chiefsnuggleofficer during the Contest Entry Period and complete the online registration form. As part of your submission, upload an essay of up to 1,200 characters explaining why your puppy or kitten deserves the title of Chief Snuggle Officer, along with 3–5 photos and one video (15–30 seconds) featuring your pet.

Submission Requirement:

The puppy or kitten must be under 12 months old, belong to the entrant, and appear alone in all photos and videos. Photos and videos must be taken within 30 days of submission and cannot be AI-generated or professionally created.

Purina Brand Ambassador Pet Contest Judging:

Judging: All eligible entries are divided into two categories: Puppies and Kittens. An independent panel scores each entry based on:

• Personality & Charm (35%)
• Snuggle Skills (30%)
• Creativity (25%)
• Presentation (10%)

Finalists: The top 3 entries in each category (6 finalists total) advance. If there's a tie, the entry with the higher Personality & Charm score moves forward.

Public Voting: The 6 finalists are posted on the contest website and the myPurina app for public voting. Fans can vote once per day, per category, on each platform (website and app) through September 30, 2026.

Grand Prize Winners: Judges combine each finalist's judging score with their public vote total. The finalist with the highest combined score in each category (one puppy and one kitten) wins, for a total of 2 Grand Prize winners. If there's a tie, the higher judging score breaks it.

The winners are expected to be announced in early October 2026.

Purina Pet Contest 2026 Prizes:

Puppy Division (1 Winner):

• $25,000 cash prize
• A $10,000 donation to a local animal shelter in the winner's community

Kitten Division (1 Winner):

• $25,000 cash prize
• A $10,000 donation to a local animal shelter in the winner's community
