Progressive's Real Life Trucking Hero 2012 Contest

Difficulty Level : Very Hard ( 4 out of 5 ) Are you a commercial tow truck driver or tractor truck driver? If yes, then you can take part in the Progressive Commercial online contest and nominate yourself or someone you know by submitting an essay. The essay should includes explanations about why you or someone you know could be the next great truck driver of America. Also encourage your friends or family members for your heroic story and you could win $15,000 cash or $1,000 cash.

Limit: To participate in the contest, the minimum age is 18 years old. You can enter once with a valid email address during the contest period.

To enter the contest, go to www.progressivecommercial.com or www.facebook.com/progressivecommercial and enter your email address. Then, submit the online entry form along with essay (up to 500 words) and a photo of a commercial truck driver. There are six entry periods and six voting periods. Every voting period starts after each entry period.

All entries will be put for public voting. After that, six finalists can be selected by the judges on the basis of judging criteria: 10% for creativity, 30% for quality of submission, 20% for number of votes received and 40% fit to contest theme.

The six finalists will be again put for the public voting in order to select the grand-prize winner. The finalists who will receive the highest vote will be the Grand Prize winner.

Grand Prize winner will get $15,000 check while the six finalists will get $1,000 check.
