Submit the nominee's information, select a category, upload a photo (JPG format, up to 10MB), and provide a written statement of 5,000 words or less explaining why the nominee is an American hero. Judging Process

Phase 1 (On or about July 10, 2026): All eligible nominations are judged based on American Hero Story (70%), Photo Submission (20%), and Grammar & Punctuation (10%). The top 5 highest-scoring submissions advance as Finalists.

Phase 2: The 5 Finalists are re-evaluated using the same criteria and scoring system. The highest-scoring Finalists advance to the final phase.

Phase 3: Remaining Finalists are scored again using the same criteria. The nomination with the highest overall weighted score is selected as the Grand Prize Winner.
