Explore the ideal world of Minecraft and build a creative playground using the blocks to administer it into the Kellogg Minecraft Build For Better Contest. Bring on your ultimate playground ideas to build for your chosen community, mainly featuring KABOOM designs and materials. Plus, the winner of Kellogg’s Minecraft Photo Contest will receive an opportunity to participate in Design Day, in addition to these, he or she will win a trip to the ribbon-cutting ceremony of the new playground in a designated U.S.-based city. Limit

The eligible entrants should be 18 years or older at the time of entry. There is a limit of 1 entry per person, regardless of the method of entry.

How to Enter Kellogg Minecraft Build For Better Contest

There are 2 ways to enter:

• Website Entry: In order to enter, eligible entrants must do the following: 1) Go to kelloggminecraftpromo.com; 2) Select the “Build for Better Contest”; 3) Complete the online Contest registration form; 4) Upload your photo (5MB or less / photo format must be png, jpg and/or gif) to the Photo Upload Page (do not refresh/close your browser during this time); and 6) Once complete, you will see a Confirmation Page that your photo was uploaded successfully.
• Mail-in Entry: To enter the Contest without using Minecraft, hand draw a playground design on an 8½”x 11” piece of paper and include your name, address, age, and daytime phone number, and mail it in an envelope with sufficient postage affixed to Kellogg’s™ - Minecraft Build for Better Contest, Attn: Entry, P.O. Box 7777, Kalamazoo, MI 49003-7777.

Kellogg Minecraft Photo Contest Winner Selection

At the conclusion of the Submission Period, 1 Grand Prize winner will be selected from among all eligible entries received by a panel of qualified judges. The Grand Prize winner will be selected based on the following judging criteria:

• creativity – 20%.
• inclusivity & accessibility – 20%.
• practicality for being built – 20%.
• appropriate for all ages – 20%; e. sustainability – 20% (i.e. use of recycled, sustainable or responsibly sourced materials, the inclusion of nature – e.g. trees and flowers, sustainable water elements and recycling bins).

Kellogg Minecraft Build For Better Contest Prize

The winner will receive the Grand Prize which consists of the following:

• His/her playground design is to be used as inspiration for the community in which the playground will be built;
• The opportunity to participate in Design Day (to be held virtually) to aid in the development of the playground with the community (The Design Day will be scheduled and facilitated by KABOOM! The final design will be built by KABOOM); and
• The winner and 1 guest will have the opportunity to attend the ribbon-cutting ceremony of the new playground in a designated U.S.-based city (ARV $4,500).
