How to Enter in 40 for the Future: Honoring HBCU Scholars Contest:

Students must self-nominate. To enter, visit Fox5atlanta.com/contests and upload a video (maximum two minutes) including:

• Your name
• Hometown
• HBCU where you are currently enrolled
• Why you deserve $5,000
• Why you should be recognized with the 40 for the Future: Honoring HBCU Scholars Award.

Videos must not include music, copyrighted materials, or third-party content. Entrants must also provide their name, email address, phone number, and HBCU.

Honoring HBCU Scholars Contest Winner Selection:

Seven winners will be selected randomly on or about September 26, 2025 from all eligible entries. Finalists who complete all requirements will advance to public voting. From October 27, 2025 (6:00 a.m.) through October 31, 2025 (12:00 p.m.), viewers may vote once per hour for their favorite Finalist at Fox5atlanta.com. Any attempt to tamper with voting will result in disqualification and potential legal action.
