• You are allowed one recipe entry per category. Categories include appetizers, side dishes, entrees and desserts.

Entry Requirements:

The entry must include Name; Contact info; Social media handle (if applicable); and Recipe which must be submitted with the following requirements:

Bear Mountain BBQ Family Full Of Flavor Contest Winner Selection

Judges will judge the entries, and the dishes will be scored equally on the basis of the following judging criteria:

• Appearance (25%): How does this dish present on a platter or a baking dish? Does it look appetizing? Is it drool worthy before you taste or smell it?
• Taste (25%): Key to every good recipe is the taste. Is the dish flavorful? Balanced? Will everyone in the family like it? Would you want to make this recipe again because it just tastes that good?
• Ease to prepare (25%): Family time can get busy, so recipes shouldn’t get too complex. Are the ingredients in your dish easy to find at the grocery store? Is it easy to make?
• Serve and eat at a family reunion (25%): Is it easy to increase the size of this dish for bigger groups? Does the recipe have an interesting story? Does it have a history? Will it inspire others to make again?
