The eligible entrants should be 18 years or older at the time of entry. The entry limit is subjected to a maximum of 3 entries per person.

How to Enter You Bet Your Life Travel Nightmares Contest

Entrants are invited to visit youbetyourlife.com/travelnightmares and follow the online instructions to submit their original travel nightmare joke. Then complete the following information: first name, last name, daytime telephone number, and email address. Agree/ confirm the checkbox to receive 1 entry.

Submission Requirements:

• The Joke must not be written by a professional comedy writer/stand-up performer.
• The Joke must be written in the English language, must contain references to and/or the Joke’s content must be centered around his/her travel experiences, and be written in the tone and style similar to the jokes performed on the Show’s Rodney Run comedy segment.
• If an entrant submits more than 1 Entry (maximum of 3 Entries) each Joke must be different from any previously submitted Joke.

You Bet Your Life Travel Nightmares Contest Winner Selection

On weekdays (excluding applicable national holidays) beginning on or about December 7, 2021, and continuing until on or about January 7, 2022, during business hours all eligible Jokes will be judged according to the following judging criteria and scoring system as follows:

• Humor, based on a point system of 1 – 35.
• Originality, based on a point system of 1 – 35.
• Length (the shorter the Joke, the better), based on a point system of 1 – 30.
