Marriott Rewards Year of Surprises Contest

Difficulty Level : Moderate ( 3 out of 5 ) Marriott Rewards is serving the people since 30 years. The company wants to include all its members in the celebration of its 30th anniversary. It has initiated a Year of Surprises contest in which the company will throw a surprise party of a lifetime for 11 lucky winners. All you have to do is nominate any person you feel deserves a surprise party and win an opportunity to give them the best surprise party ever & a cash prize of $6,000 for yourself.

Limit: You must be 18 years old to enter the promotion. You are allowed to enter only once throughout the promotional period.

To enter, go to www.yearofsurprises.com during Nomination Period (February 1 to February 28; May 1 to May 31 and August 1 to August 31) and nominate someone you feel deserves a surprise party. To Nominate, hit the “Nominate” button and submit the registration form by entering personal details, answering questions about your surprise party and providing a Nomination Essay. You will get an entry into the Contest.

A panel of judges will judge all the entries on the basis of Creativity/uniqueness (40%), overall appeal of Nomination Essay (40%) and Feasibility of surprise party (20%).

The Entries with highest scores will be determined as winners of the Nomination Periods. Three winners will be selected in from Nomination Period 1 and four winners from Nomination Period 2 and 3 (total eight).

The winners will be awarded with a surprise party worth up to $14,000 and a $6,000 in the form of a check to the winning Nominator. (ARV: $20,000)
