World Line of the Winter Contest

Difficulty Level : Very Hard ( 5 out of 5 ) A whole new world of creative angles has opened up, as GoPro just announced World Line of the Winter Contest to find out the best line of this winter! It has changed the snowboarding game with riders, allowing them to capture every run with multiple angle options with all the new mounts and accessories. For revolutionary filming, amazing riding, superb lights and creativeness; winners will be rewarded with $20,000 grand prize and $1,000 monthly prizes. So, are you ready for that superb rail, jump, cliff, chute and couloirs?

Limit: Videographers are permitted to upload only one Submission per line. Any GoPro users across the world can enter the contest with active email account and Internet access.

To participate in this Contest, a Skier/Snowboarder and/or videographer must film with a GoPro camera between November 1, 2014 and March 31, 2015. Once the Submission has been created, the Videographer or Skier/Snowboarder may visit lineofthewinter.com to complete and submit the registration form, and upload the Submission. On participating, each Skier/Snowboarder and Videographer admits that they are participating at their own risk and that neither Grind nor any Sponsor is responsible for any physical harm or death that may befall any Skier/Snowboarder or Videographer as a result of participation in these Contests.

At the time of uploading a Submission, both the Videographer (who created the Submission) and the Skier/Snowboarder (featured in the Submission) agree that the Submission conforms to the Video Guidelines and Content Restrictions as given on the official rules page.

Make sure that all submissions must be taken with a GoPro camera. And, the final round of judging will take place from May 11th – 15th, 2015 with following criteria:

Cinematography + Composition — 25%
Perspective and Degree of Shooting Difficulty — 25%
Performance + Style — 25%
Overall Beauty + Lighting — 25%

Grand Prize winner will be rewarded with $20,000 USD. And, monthly prize winner will receive $1,000 USD.
