To be part of the sweepstakes, you need to submit the photograph, a title and statement to exhibit how your family rocks. Let’s see how it can be done…

First snap an original photograph of you and your immediate family indicating how your family rocks and get ready with a statement of 500 words or less describing how you and your family are a family who rocks. A photograph and statement are essential for your entry into the contest to compete.

Then visit the contest website, www.rollingstone.com/myfamilyrocks to submit your photograph and statement and be registered for the contest. As instructed, provide your details and submit your entry for your chance to win.

As per judges’ criteria, up to 12 submissions with the highest rating will be determined as online finalists. Afterward these all 12 online finalist submissions will be presented on the contest website and the consumers will be welcomed between January 3, 2013 and January 17, 2013 to cast their vote for favorite submission that they think is best. Following the end of the voting time, one winner based on the results of votes and judges’ criteria will be chosen by judges and announced a grand prize winner of the contest.
