Bn.com My Favorite Teacher Contest 2021

In our school or college life, we all have one favorite teacher who taught us something invaluable which we carry all through our lives. And now, high school students have an opportunity to nominate their favorite teacher for Barnes & Noble National Teacher of the Year award. All you have to do is submit an essay, poem or thank you letter in the in Barnes & Noble My Favorite Teacher Contest 2021 to have your favorite teacher considered for “The Barnes & Noble Teacher of the Year” award. At the end of contest, the winning teacher will win the title of Barnes & Noble's Teacher of the Year and $5000 cash. And the school will also receive $5000 cash.

Limit: Only high school students are eligible for the contest. The minimum age limit for the contest is 14 years old or older. They can receive one entry during contest period.

How to Participate:

Visit bn.com/myfavoriteteacher, submit 500 words essay, poem, or thank-you letter sharing how that teacher has influenced your life and why you appreciate and admire that teacher. As well as, complete and submit official entry form with all requested personal details.

Judging:

All entries will be judged by qualified panel of judges on the basis of following criteria:

• Compelling nature of teacher’s inspiring qualities (50%)
• Sincerity of student’s appreciation (25%)
• The quality of expression and writing (25%)

The entry with the highest score will be the winning teacher

• The “Barnes & Noble National Teacher of the Year” award
• $5,000 Cash and will be recognized at a special event at a store near their residence.
