How to Enter in The Safeway 100th Anniversary Celebration Sweepstakes:

There are two ways to participate and enter the Sweepstakes:

Via purchase (earn & redeem points)

Safeway for U members can earn Points during the promotion period by purchasing qualifying products at participating Safeway or Pak N Save stores, in-store or online. To earn Points, you must use your registered phone number or scan your member card at checkout.

Points are earned as follows:

• You receive 1 Point for every $1 spent on groceries, 2 Points for every $1 spent on gift cards, and 1 Point for every $1 spent on qualifying pharmacy purchases. Certain participating products offer 4x Points when you download and apply the digital coupon in your account before purchase.
• Points may also include those earned before the promotion period. There is no limit to how many Points you can earn. However, Points expire at the end of the second calendar month after they are earned.
• You can redeem 50 Points for one Sweepstakes entry into available prize drawings (Car Prize, Monterey Getaway, or $500 Safeway Gift Card).

No purchase method (mail-in entry)

You may also enter without making a purchase by submitting a handwritten mail-in entry. On a 3” x 5” card, clearly write your full name, mailing address (no P.O. Boxes), city, state, ZIP code, date of birth, phone number, email address, and primary store you shop at.
