Limit: Eligible entrants must be 18 years or older and must have filed an IRS tax return for the 2025 tax year during the Sweepstakes Period. There is a limit of two entries per person per entry period, regardless of the method of entry.

How to Enter Jackson Hewitt Cash Giveaway

There are a total of 15 Entry Periods, and you may enter via one of the 2 ways:

Method #1: Filing Your Tax Return with Jackson Hewitt

An eligible entrant who files their 2025 federal tax return at a participating Jackson Hewitt physical location, has the return electronically filed by Jackson Hewitt, provides a valid email address, and provides all required consents will automatically receive one entry into the applicable Entry Period based on the date the return is filed.

If a joint return is filed, each taxpayer listed on the return will receive their own automatic entry. Automatic entries are subject to Sponsor’s posted notices and Privacy Policy.

Automatic Entry Bonus Entries

An automatic entrant may receive one additional entry in the same Entry Period if, before filing, they complete one of the following:

• Book and keep an eligible appointment at least one day in advance using their phone number or email on file.
• Receive an eligible refund disbursement by electing to receive a qualifying tax refund on a Jackson Hewitt Serve® American Express Card.
• Complete an eligible online form designated by Jackson Hewitt at least one day prior to filing, using their phone number or email on file.

If a joint return qualifies for a bonus entry, each taxpayer will receive one bonus entry.

Method #2: Mail-In Entry (No Purchase Necessary)

To enter without filing a tax return with Jackson Hewitt, an eligible entrant must mail a handwritten entry including: full name (and spouse’s name if applicable), complete mailing address, email address, phone number, and the exact date the federal tax return was filed, stated as: “Federal Tax Return Filed on XX/XX/26.”
