Take up the D23 Expo Mousequerade Contest 2022 challenge and walk the aisle with your original designs to blow the minds of the audiences. Enter the Disney Mousequerade Contest by prompting to submit your celestial costume designs that could represent the Disney world in its ingenious form all through the centuries we have known to win free event tickets to attend the D23 Expo 2022, at the Anaheim 6 Convention Center. Limit

The eligible entrants should be 18 years or older, and who is a D23 Member (General or Gold Membership) at the time of entry. There is a limit of 1 Submission per Category per person during the Submission Phase.

How to Enter D23 Expo Mousequerade Contest 2022

An eligible entrant must visit d23expo.com/mousequerade and enter the entrant’s valid e-mail address and the information requested on the entry form including first and complete last name (no initials); entrant’s preferred “stage name”; phonetic spelling for name utilized on stage; valid e-mail address; phone number; street address (no P.O. Boxes will be allowed); city, state; and zip code. Then follow the on-screen prompts to upload 3 to 5 sketches and/or photos of a costume entrant designed along with the costume title, description (75 words or less), costume dimensions, and list of materials. Submission must be in one of the following formats: .JPEG, .JPG, .GIF, or .PNG and must not exceed 8 MB. Entrant must select the costume category entrant’s costume falls into from the following:

• Imagine That!
• Magical Mash-Ups
• Casts of Characters

D23 Expo Mousequerade Contest 2022 Winner Selection

During the Judging Phase (April 11, 2022 - April 18, 2022), a panel of qualified judges will select up to 10 finalists per category, for a total of up to 40 potential finalists on the basis of judging criteria as follows:

• Creativity and Originality of Costume(s): 50%;
• Creative Use of Category Theme: 30%;
• Use of Materials: 20%.

Finalist Event Judging: During the event, the Finalists will participate in the Mousequerade at the D23 Expo 2022. Each Finalist will present their costume to a live audience and judges on stage for approximately 1 minute to music. Eligible Finalists will be judged by a panel of qualified judges to determine the potential Best in Show and Category winners.

D23 Expo Mousequerade Contest Prizes

Finalist Prizes (Up to 120 total; 10-80 per Category): Each Finalist will receive 2 general admission tickets (for Finalist and 1 guest) to attend the D23 Expo 2022, at the Anaheim 6 Convention Center.

1 Best In Show Prize: The winner will receive $2,300 cash in the form check, a trophy, and certificate(s). If the Best In Show Prize goes to a group Category, the check will be equally divided amongst each group member. If the Best in Show winner includes a group, only 1 member of the group will receive a trophy. The ARV of the Best In Show Prize is $2,900.

4 Category Prizes (1 per Category): Each winner will receive a trophy. If the Category Prize winner includes a group, each member of the group will receive a trophy. The ARV of each Category Prize is $400-$3,200.

1 Fan Favorite Prize: The winner will receive a commemorative sash. If the Fan Favorite Prize winner includes a group, each member of the group will receive a commemorative sash. The ARV of the Fan Favorite Prize is $25-$200.
