How to Enter Blueberry Showdown Recipe Contest

Visit blueberryshowdown.com, and complete and submit the entry form, (required fields include Full Name, Full Mailing Address, Email Address, Phone Number, and Date of Birth). Then, choose only 1 of the 5 possible categories for your recipe (Breakfast, Lunch/Dinner, Appetizer/Side Dish, Dessert, Mocktail/Cocktail). Next, type in the specific ingredients and clear instructional steps for your recipe in a manner that can be followed by the judges. Finally, upload a photo of your completed recipe or something representing your recipe via your PC or mobile device. Acceptable formats for photos include JPG or PNG with a DPI of at least 300.

Great Blueberry Recipe Showdown Contest and Sweepstakes Winner Selection

Contest Judging: After the end of the Entry Period, a panel of judges will score each Submission up to the maximum score allowed, using multiple rounds of judging, including preparing the recipe that scores high enough in the initial rounds. The first round will be judged based equally on the ingredient profile and the recipe and the top-scored Submissions from each Category will advance to the next round of judging. In the final round, a celebrity chef will judge the narrowed-down Submissions (the top 3 per Category) and will score them as per the following Judging Criteria:

• Presentation/Visual Appeal/Appearance of submitted Photo (16.66%);
• Originality of Recipe (16.66%);
• Taste/Flavor of Recipe, as Prepared (16.66%);
• Importance of Blueberries in the Recipe (16.66%);
• Ease of Preparation of Recipe (16.66%); and
• Recipe Writing (concise, well-written recipe with complete list of Ingredients, and easy to follow instructional steps) (16.66%).

Sweepstakes Prize: 1 Potential winner will be selected on or about, August 1, 2023, from all the eligible entries received by a random drawing.
