Summer is favorite time of the year! Taking vacation in summer gives pleasure of some good relaxing time for people who have worked all year long. A good vacation is not about leaving your pocket empty…in fact, it’s about relaxing, easing your stress, and most importantly, keeping the family intact and enjoying time together. Summer holidays give chance to spend memorable days with the family. These moments are really priceless; so many of us just capture them in photos or video and create Summer Stories to remember for years to come. It’s about anything, your road trips, days at the pool, family barbeques, summer sports, fun in water, etc. This summer, Cracker Barrel wants you to share your favorite Summer Story with it in its “Summer Stories Sweepstakes”. On participating, you could win an ultimate family vacation also gift cards. So, just share your summer special and get chance to create more of them!

For all Sweepstakes and Contest entries, limit of 381 sweepstakes entries per person, per email address regardless of method of entry is decided. Also, entrants must be over the age of majority at time of entry in their jurisdiction of residence.

Enter the Sweepstakes:

Your first step is to complete the registration process at www.crackerbarrelsummer.com. Registration is free, just follow the on-screen instructions and enter your name, mailing address, email address, telephone number, date of birth and other required information. Next, agree to be legally bound by the terms and conditions of Official Rules, Sponsor’s Privacy Policy and other terms and conditions for the Site.

Once you complete your registration, you could earn additional Sweepstakes Entries in one or more of the following ways:

Submitting a Photo or Video:

On submitting a Photo or a Video during the Contest Entry Period, you will earn five Sweepstakes Entries. In this method of entry, you are allowed to 35 Sweepstakes entries throughout the promotion.

Voting on Photos and Videos:

You will get one Sweepstakes Entry for each Photo or Video you vote on. Five votes per person per day are allowed, and you can only vote on the same Photo or Video once per day. You must be registered for the Promotion to vote. Each “Vote Entry” gives you a chance to win the Weekly Prizes and chance to win the Sweepstakes Grand Prize.

Opt-in to Receive Emails from Cracker Barrel:

If you sign up to get email communications from Cracker Barrel on the site, you will earn ten sweepstakes entries. Ten sweepstakes entries per person are allowed in this method of entry.

Like Cracker Barrel’s Facebook Page:

If you ‘like’ Sponsor’s Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/CrackerBarrel, you will earn ten sweepstakes entries. To ‘like’, you must have active Facebook session, if not, visit www.facebook.com and get registered. Now visit the site and go to ‘Like Us On Facebook’ section that takes you to Sponsor’s Facebook Page. There you can like the Facebook Page. Ten sweepstakes entries per person are allowed in this method of entry.

Invite a Friend:

You can earn five Sweepstakes Entries per friend, who get registered through the link you send them following any of the five methods given below. Total 25 sweepstakes entries can be earned using these methods. For all entry methods, you can customize the message sent to your friends.

Invite a Friend Email:
Invite your friends via e-mail, clicking on the “Invite A Friend” link on the Site and entering a friend’s email address. Each friend will be sent an email from Cracker Barrel containing a link to the Sweepstakes.

Facebook Wall Posts/Invites:
If you are a Facebook user and are logged onto both the Site and Facebook, while on the Site, you can o invite friends using the Facebook invite a friend tool. Just click on the Facebook icon in the “Online Invitation” portion of the Share With Friends page; now from the Site, you can post the provided Facebook page regarding the Sweepstakes. Registrants can share both the sweepstakes and links to pictures/videos using the method above.

Twitter Posts/Invites:
You must have a Twitter account and connected to the Site. Then from the Site, you can post the provided message to your Twitter feed including a personal web link. (see below for how to get a personal web link).

Personal Link or Banner:
To get back your personal web link from the site, click on the “Share” link and set the personal web link or personal banner on this page. You can post your link on instant messenger, blogs, message boards and personal web pages or in emails.

Share a Photo via Pinterest:
All shared Photos will have a unique web link, which leads back to the Site. You must have a Pinterest account in order to get Sweepstakes entries for this method. Make sure that if your Photo is shared on Pinterest, it is viewable by the public.

Enter the Contest

Once you get registered, upload a Photo or Video on the Theme of “shows the meaning of summer.” You could submit up an unlimited about of Submissions in this Contest. Here, Video must be one minute long or less, as it will be judged for only the first minute. And, uploaded photo must be one of the following formats: ‘jpg’, ‘jpeg’, ‘png’, ‘gif’ also uploaded video must be one of the following formats ‘mts’, ‘f4v’, ‘avi’, ‘webm’, ‘3gp’, ‘mp4’, ‘mkv’, ‘wmv’, ‘mov’, ‘mpg’, ‘ogv’, ‘m4v’, ‘flv’, ‘mov’. The file (either photo or video) must be no more than 8 megabytes.

Make sure that Contest entries must be submitted between June 30, 2014 on 8:00 a.m. CT and August 5, 2014 on 12:00 p.m. CT. Even note that uploading a Photo or Video is required to compete to enter the contest only and you do not have to upload a Photo or a Video to enter the Sweepstakes. You need to submit both a Photo and a Video for a chance to win each of the prizes in this Contest.

Sweepstakes Winners

One Sweepstakes Weekly Prize Winner selected on each of the five dates: July 7, 2014, July 14, 2014, July 21, 2014, July 28, 2014 and August 6, 2014. Note that only entries received for voting on a Photo or Video will be considered in the weekly Promotion drawing.

And, one Sweepstakes Grand Prize Winner will be selected on or about September 8, 2014 in a random drawing of all valid Sweepstakes Entries.

Contest Winners

All Photos and Videos submitted in this Promotion will be displayed on the Site for public voting. People can vote for their favorite Photos and Videos, and at the end of each week for five weeks, the one Photo and Video respectively , with the most votes received during that specific week will be declared as the Weekly Photo Prize winner and the Weekly Video Prize winner, respectively.

As soon as the Contest Entry Period completed, a determined panel of qualified judges will find out 10 Photo Finalists and 10 Video Finalists, based on Judging Criteria of Composition (25%) and Creativity (75%).

Then, all Finalist Prize Winners’ Submissions will be put on display on the Site from August 11, 2014 to August 28, 2014 for public voting. People could vote for each of their favorite Photos and Videos. The Photo Finalist and Video Finalist Photo, respectively, with the most votes will be declared the Grand Prize winners on or about September 02, 2014.

Sweepstakes prizes:

5 Sweepstakes Weekly Prize Winner will receive a $100 Cracker Barrel Old Country Store ™ Gift Card. And, one Sweepstakes Grand Prize Winner is rewarded with a $1,000 Visa Gift Card.

Contest prizes:

Total 20 Finalist Prize Winners (10 for Photos and 10 for Videos) will receive $250 Cracker Barrel Old Country Store™ Gift Card. Here, 5 Weekly Video Prize Winners and 5 Weekly Photo Prize Winners each will receive $100 Cracker Barrel Old Country Store™ Gift Card and Hardwood Woven Rocker. And, one Photo Grand Prize Winner and Video Grand Prize Winner are rewarded with Selection of anyone Vacation Package each.

The selected Photo Grand Prize Winner and Video Grand Prize Winner can get the choice of receiving any of the below listed vacation packages. Each vacation package is for 4 people - winner and three guests.
