Registering Your Kohl’s Account
Kohls.com is the retail website of this departmental store from where you can order and shop for clothing and similar products. To register yourself, you will simply have to:
- Open Kohl’s sign-up page from your PC or phone browser.
- Next, you will have to type in your 12-digit card number before clicking Continue.
- Now enter your first name, last name, password, and email address in the provided fields.
- You will be required to choose a username and password. As a security measure, you should select three security questions and provide your answers which can be used later on to validate your identity if you somehow forget the username and password.
- Choose the additional options depending on your preference and click the ‘Create Account’ button. Doing this will create your Kohl’s account right away.
If you aren’t sure about the username and password while logging in subsequently, you shouldn’t try more than a few guesses. You might be locked out of your account for several hours and even Kohl’s Customer Service won’t be able to unlock your account until the end of the waiting period.
Activating Your Kohl’s Card
Customers are requested to wait until receiving the new card by mail before trying to activate it. Only an authorized user or the primary owner of the Kohl’s card can activate the same:
Online
- Open a web browser on your mobile device or computer.
- Now visit the activation URL kohls.com/activate.
- If you are already a Kohl’s account holder, then enter your username and password before clicking the “Submit” button to log in. Otherwise, you can spend a few minutes registering yourself by following the steps mentioned above.
- Next, select the Account icon (indicated by your profile name) located near the upper-right corner of the screen.
- You will find the “Manage card” option in the menu, click on it followed by the “Activate Now” button appearing at the top of the screen.
- Here you will have to enter the 12-digit card number and other required information.
- Next you will have to complete the remaining on-screen prompts to activate your card following which you will get a notification on your screen.

You can consider activating your Kohl’s credit card using your phone if you can’t online. Next, you will have to call (800) 954-0244 and carefully follow the on-screen prompts to activate your Kohl’s credit card.
