She likes the Pepperidge Farm 100% whole wheat because it has no seeds. We can no longer find it at Super Saver. We have to go to Walmart or Leon's to get it. When they did have it they ran out often. It seems to me that something that runs out all the time should be stocked while others that are all over the shelves could be cut back a little.
I don't know how many times I've had to return expired, spoiled & moldy food numerous times. Now If I purchase anything I look at the expiration dates. They did build a newer store which I try to go to but the fridge where they store the milk and similar items is always so dirty. I'm surprised the health department allows this. Maybe I'm to clean. So don't think you are the only one who has problems wherever you are located.
I have been a faithful shopper at Super Saver for many, many years but have become discouraged on a consistent basis lately because many of the items I purchase on a regular basis end up being out of stock. Sometimes for more than 3-4 weeks. This week when I went in they were out of the Clearly Organic Oatmeal for the 2nd week in a row. Also, the Clearly Organic Smooth Peanut Butter was not there. They have many new flavors of the Fritos but with all of those they didn't have any chili-cheese fritos.
I purchase the Best Choice unsweetened natural applesauce every time I come in but many times it is also out of stock. I have to switch the brand of bread I usually get because they have discontinued stocking it.
I have had to return sour milk, moldy cheese slices, (more than once), moldy buns way before the expiration date.
I purchase a lot of eggs for my family and numerous times when I check the cartons they have cracked or broken eggs in them and I need to go hunting for a carton with no broken eggs.
I am not writing all of this to be a complainer but to encourage you to look into this. I want to remain a faithful Super Saver Shopper but I must admit I have been going to other stores here of late to purchase some or most of my groceries. Thank you for letting me comment.
