I went into B&Q in Fakenham

I went into B&Q in Fakenham to have a tin of paint mixed. I needed enough to paint a wall which had been re-plastered. I got paint home and applied it to the corner of the wall to finish off first coat. It was not the colour I had expected. it was about 3 shades darker. I rang the store and spoke to an employee who told me 1. You need to go back to the same store as had originally mixed it as the machines are different. 2. We have changed the base paint. 3. The colour will have changed since you had original mixed. (It was 2015, but the colour remainder of the paint in the tin went on the same colour). This paint by the way was non-refundable as was mixed.
I went into B&Q in Norwich and was served by a lovely young lady, Steph. She managed to find out what the problem was. After doing several samples from the old tin of paint against what I had been sold, she discovered that the guy who had mixed the paint in Fakenham had not checked the actual code of the paint that I purchased. He had mixed 2and half litres of a sample pot, the first I had tried. I had bought the second sample so there was not many to choose from. He chose the first on the list. Steph was brilliant and so nice. She took the time to ensure I came out of B&Q in Norwich with the correct paint, Well done Steph.
Not so well done man in Fakenham branch.

I Visited B&Q St Helens I was

I Visited B&Q St Helens

I was returning some tiles that I had bought by mistake(wrong size) I had been online the previous night to order the correct tiles for “Click & Collect from another store to receive a call this morning to advise they were not available. I rang customer service and was advised that due to the current offer of 3 for 2 items had expired I could not benefit from this even though I had purchased the items online and paid for them before this expired. The adviser was helpful but was tied by their policy etc he did manage to order again for me Click & Collect but at two different stores to enable me to get the tiles I wanted.
However I received another call later fro Liverpool to say they weren’t in stock again !!! I went along to St Helens where I returned my original purchase and to collect two packs of the three that I needed again to find only one was in stock!!! I was dealt with by Callum who was really helpful and understanding of the situation and was able to resolve this and was able to come to a solution to enable me to still get the tiles I needed at no extra cost. He was most helpful and his customer service skills were fantastic

I visited B&Q in Falkirk as I needed some special colour paint. The girl behind the counter called Rosie was exstemely helpfull and also very knowledgable . I wish that all shop staff would be as professional as she was

I visited B & Q

I visited B & Q Taunton

Having purchased a Lazy Spar hot tub which appeared to have a slow puncture I could get no assistance from the manufacturer. I spoke to Shell who was most helpful and tenacious whilst dealing with the manufacturer. The outcome was a replacement hot tub which arrived the following day. If B & Q do an employee of the month award then my vote goes to Shell

I visited B +Q St Helens

I visited B +Q St Helens yesterday to purchase something to seal my garden wall. It is constructed in breeze blocks. I had no idea what to use, as there are many 'sealing' products. I spoke to a couple of young men working there, they had no idea and suggested I try the building team. Apparently they where at lunch, so a lady on the till called me over. This wonderful lady Jools asked several colleagues, they all said breeze blocks are extremely porous so the sealants don't work. Undeterred Jools checked on her phone, to see if anything would work! She discovered a product called Thompson's Water Seal would work on breeze block. B +Q unfortunately didn't stock this product, so she wrote the name on a piece of paper and suggested I looked on the internet when I got home. I didn't think people like Jools still existed, she wasn't letting me go away until I was happy with the service, she's the best employee I have ever spoken to in my many years of shopping in very many shops. Brilliant!

I visited the B&Q store in Essex to buy garden furniture. My discount card was 5 years out of date, which was very disappointing. Les was awesome in his customer service skills and using my IPhone he managed to transfer my existing membership to an updated discount card for OAP's. If it wasn't for Les's skills my partner would have walked away and I wouldn't have my purchases. Thank you.

I went to the Bangor branch

I went to the Bangor branch where I was served by Tina and Sophia.
I had bought a bathroom suite some 10 years ago and needed to replace the toilet seat as the hinges had broken. The model had unsurprisingly been discontinued. However, the ladies having many years experience could remember its name from the photographs of the suite back home which I had taken on my phone. They were also able to retrieve old catalogues and found a website specialising in old model spare parts..The icing on the cake was the production of two spare hinges which they had kept with other miscellaneous old items in their special cupboard just for this kind of emergency.
A major problem for me sorted by two very committed, clever and dedicated members of staff.

On Saturday 4th May l visited

On Saturday 4th May l visited my local B&Q store in Jersey with a friend to inquire about purchasing a plastic garden shed. The one on display was not the size we required. However, we were very impressed with the young man who served us by the name of Brandon. He certainly went the extra mile in relation to providing customer service. Brandon answered all our queries, he then went on line to show us what else B&Q had available. This was the best customer experience that we have received by a member of the B&Q staff. We do hope that Brandon will receive recognition for his excellent service. Thank you

I used Merthyr Tydfil branch

I used Merthyr Tydfil branch and was served by Mark,.
I was very impressed with how helpful he was when I was purchasing
A bamboo plan.
He put it on a trolley together with a number of lavender plants he picked out
For me, took them to the till and then to my car.
As I have a small car he worked wonders fitting in my plants for me.
Fabulous customer service was demonstrated. How lucky B & Q are to have
Such a proactive member of staff. Well done Mark

Great service from B and Q in

Great service from B and Q in Malvern today.
Would love to offer the name of the young girl who served us today for a patio set at 19.30hrs.
Did not get her name so this might be something HO could make sure is put on the receipt in future.
All that is on there is the manager's name Mark Jones who played no part in our transaction!

Frank was very helpful when

Frank was very helpful when we visited recently. He advised me in how to look after my orchid. He also photocopied information on lawn protection from moss and gave very good advise. He was very friendly and knowledgeable.

Being elderly I find the staff at Kilmarnock are always very helpful lifting items of shelf,s and loading my trolley for me and assisting me at the checkout excellent service anonymous OAP Ayrshire .

I have been to B&Q for some

I have been to B&Q for some Dowling rods To use to put up some net curtain on our living room window which is 10f 6inc long but needed something to join 2 pieces of Dowling rod together so the person who was cutting the rods to length who's name was John suggested a piece of plastic tubing about 6inch in length which he also cut for and placed it at one end of the dowel Rod It was at the Darlington Branch where all the staff are so Helpful and easy to talk to for help and would recommend it to everyone who would ask me where to go for DIY problems to be solved I would give them all 5 stars

I want to say a big thank you

I want to say a big thank you to Dan from your Newbury store .l am 74 years old and wnted a tv
amplifier and only had a rough idea how to set it up.Dan not only treeted me with respect and patience he couldn’t have been any more helpful .It was great to be served by someone with time to help me.I have set it up on m tv and it works great. With many thanks to Dan.

I purchased £120 worth of

I purchased £120 worth of goods from Stratford shop and got a £10 token took it into the shop when i wanted another £160 worth of goods but it had not printed the code number. Angie was on but said she could not give as it had no code. She needed the code. I wend back next day and she was just starting still putting her apron on. I asked if she could deal with it as i had it on my i pad. She had to write about 20 part numbers down refund it and the charge it again with the discount. She was great i know I was a pain but she was chatting away and happy causing her all this trouble. This is what is lacking in shops today ,what an attitude you have a star there.

I would like to give a positive feedback on the help I received from several members of your staff at your B&Q store in Hartcliffe bristol, when purchasing a Darwin Wardrobe on 5/2/19. I spoke to 3 members of staff on that day and each one was very friendly, polite and helpful especially a very nice gentleman called Des, who took the time to get me a trolley load the wardrobe onto it push it to the checkout and load my car with a college of his, nothing was to much trouble Thank you Des you made my shopping experience hassle free.

Staff very helpful as usual.

Staff very helpful as usual. My only problem was we especially went on the Wednesday. Bought a large tin willow shades Cuprinol for the garden fences. We thought 10per cent off garden included fence paint as this was for the garden. We still bought it as we had made the journey .
