Pen down your nomination story to be the 2023 G2 Overachiever, using the G2 Pilot pen. Your true achievement lies when you make a difference around you, by crossing the threshold of the typical workday. The Pilot Corporation of America, the #1 American Pen production company, has become an epitome of power, and you could show yours too.

The 2023 G2 Overachiever Grant Contest is your absolute cue to be proud of what you have achieved over time, write how you have crippled all the regular ways and fought against the challenges.

Begin to think how your or your nominee's, overachievement stories, would land you to win a $100,000 cash grant! Write your heart out to convince the essay contest judges that you've chosen a different path, to be an overachiever, and win cash up to $100,000 as a student grant award, or as an eminent worker then sail on for an outlandish peak of your life!

Limit

The Nominee must also be employed full-time (i.e. at least 40 hours per week) and must maintain full-time employment from the date of nomination to the date the Grand Prize is announced, and have reached the age of majority in the Nominee’s state of residence at the time of entry. Participants may nominate themselves as a Nominee; however, each Participant may submit only 1 nomination.

How to Enter G2 Overachievers Grant

Participants may submit their Nominations in one of 2 ways:

• Online Submission: Participants must: (1) either take a photo or scan a copy of their handwritten Nomination Story, ensuring the file is in either PDF, JPG, or PNG, format (no other formats accepted); (2) go to G2overachievers.com; (3) complete the online entry form, including the contact information for both Participant and Nominee; (4) click to acknowledge that Participant has read and accepted these Official Rules; (5) upload a copy of the handwritten Nomination Story; and (6) click “SUBMIT.”
• Mailed Submission: A Participant may submit a Nominee for consideration by (1) going to the designated landing page and printing out a hard copy of the entry form; (2) completing the entry form, including checking the box to acknowledge that the Participant has read and accepted these Official Rules; (3) enclose the handwritten Nomination Story; and (4) mail both the completed entry form and the handwritten nomination to ASC/Pilot Pen G2 Overachievers Grant Contest 300 State St., Suite 402, Rochester, NY 14614.

Submission Requirements:

Participants must describe in a minimum of 1,000 to a maximum of 2,500 handwritten words why the Participant believes the Nominee to be an Overachiever. The Nomination Story must address each of the following questions:

• Who are you nominating? Please provide in your nomination the Nominee’s contact information (name/email address/phone number) current employment status and employer’s contact information.
• Why do you believe the Nominee to be an Overachiever, meaning one who has overcome challenges to achieve extraordinary success beyond their typical workday obligations?
• How has the Nominee improved the lives of others?
• What is the Nominee’s overall goal?
• What is the biggest challenge currently facing the Nominee?
• How would the $100,000 Grand Prize Grant help the Nominee to achieve his or her goal?

Participants do not need to answer the questions in order or repeat each question prior to responding.

2023 G2 Overachievers Grant Contest Winner Selection

Contest Finalists: During the Judging Period, all eligible nominations will be judged by a panel of qualified judges to determine 21 Contest Finalists using the following SMART criteria:

• Specific action that improved other’s lives;
• Measurable difference, based on the magnitude of people impacted;
• Attained a measurable difference;
• Resourced (by the individual); the nominee should have played a major role in starting the initiative that made the change;
• Time – the overachievement must have taken place in the last 24 months.

Grand Prize Winner: Applying the SMART criteria, the panel of judges will select 1 Grand Prize Winner from the Grand Prize Finalists.

2023 G2 Overachievers Grant Contest Prizes

• 1 Grand Prize: The winner will receive a grant in the amount of ($100,000).
• 20 Contest Finalists Prizes: Each of the Contest Finalists will receive a G2 Overachiever Kit (ARV: $100).
