Canatian tire at #345 garden city, really bad custemer service, you place an order on line / pick up in store, and they make you wait a week, on top of it you try to talk with someone and they hang up on you. Was my first time on this specific store, never again. They need lots improvement starting from the management team.

The service department needs

The service department needs to change the way they do things. I called to book an appointment for 2 new tires and installation. I arrive and they take my keys and I wait in the waiting area where I am able to see my car. Next thing I see my car come in the garage and it gets a wire hooked up to something inside, then some device put on the back tires and the hood opened and wires attached to something else. I’m wondering what this has to do with tires?? Next the car gets move to the hoist area. Again the hood goes open and fiddling around under there taking things off and then he get on the front glovebox and hauls out a filter. I am not happy at this point because I DID NOT authorize them to check my vehicle for what ever they want or remove anything. I gave permission for tires, nothing else. This not customer service or complementary when I was not asked. When the appliance guy comes to my home to fix my fridge, he doesn’t go touch the stove and dishwasher without permission. So I asked the girl what he was doing, that I did not want him under the hood etc, I just want the tires done. So she told him to stop and do the tires. When I got my bill it says “Vehicle Condition Report Declined”. How did I decline something when I was not asked in the first place!!!! You need to ASK people if the want a report before you go messing around people’s vehicles. Regardless if whether or not there is a “physical” charge on the bill for it. Not impressed and I will be letting others know this.
Also the guy in the waiting room with me had his vehicle on the hoist getting tires switched and they thought it was okay to change his tires without balancing them before putting them back on the vehicle until he asked the girl if they don’t balance tires anymore and she had to go tell the mechanic to get them balanced because the guy was watching. He was not impressed either.

Canadian Tire # 334 - St

Canadian Tire # 334 - St Albert AB. There is a MAJOR PROBLEM with the "curb-side" orders. I placed an order April30-2020. Never recieve a confirmation. Spent the next TWO days trying to find out where my order was. Spoke to Two very rude people at this store. Located my order ****STILL NO EMAIL! So what is the problem...My order was processed on April 30 .... so why no confirmation?

I was sold a defective

I was sold a defective kitchen aide stand mixer. 400.00 and then i found out from the Manufacturer that the unit was near out i& warranty.. It was two years old and broken. The kitchen aide company is sending a new one!

I was in Canadian Tire store

I was in Canadian Tire store #118 & had a wonderful experience
while shopping.
Iwas looking for a Wreath container to put your wreaths
in so they stay good..the sale was right after Christmas
I cut out a picture of it to show the person what I wanted..
I found Tony and he scanned the number and found 9 in the store
He was so helpful and patient and couldnt do enough for me.
Then my husband wanted some de ice salt and Tony went to the back of the store and carried it up for us..
We have never encountered such service before but he certainly made our day..we will look for Tony in the future as he knows his job inside and out.
Thankyou so much for your help and advice.

Shopped at vancouver store 605. Great service on the floor.. Customer Service refused to assist " go on line to find product"... typical .. That's why people talk negatively about Canadian Tire..

Hi,
Canadian Tyre has been one of our most favourite stores for over 50 years. But 'Tony' at Store #118 went 'above and beyond' for me on Monday, Jan. 13/20.
I had to get a new power adapter for my husband's C-pap cleaner. Couldn't find it; got help from a lady, couldn't find it, she called Tony. He found the type with multi pop-in plugs. But then he said, "We've got these in Automotive." So off we went. Found one, tested on the cleaner; it worked! Yeah! But turned out couldn't 'sell it'. So Tony said, "It's your lucky day! Here's your present from Canadian Tyre." He was so kind & patient with me, (a great-grandmother).

My grandson wanted a nerf item for his birthday. There were numerous items available. The one I needed was on the top shelf, of course. Ron was able to help me get the item. Thanks to him, my grandson got his new nerf!,!! Thanks again Ron!

I was in the Wallaceburg store (#135) to buy my grandson a requested gift. There was one on the top shelf. Employee 'Ron' was able to help me. He was pleasant to talk to ,,,and it was a good thing he was quite tall to reach the item. Thanks, Ron!

Hello! I am a regular Canadian Tire shopper, & I shop in a few of your locations. I love the fact that you are Canadian, but sometimes I get staff that are not that knowledgeable. Today I was shopping @ your Danforth location #273, just for 1 kilo of baking soda. I noticed that there was a larger resealable bag available, on sale. I decided to take that i stead. I also walked by your birdseed isle, & noticed the "no corn" was on on sale, & picked that up. I carried both to the cash. I had a lovely young gentleman process me through the cash. Operator: 118 Reg # 7 trans # 237. He was quick, offered me a bag, & pleasant. Job well done.
I went to my car, placed the bag of baking soda on the ground, & noticed that baking soda escaped from the airtight bag. This is the reason I purchased the larger quantity, because it was resealable. I deposited my bird seed in the trunk & walked back into C.T. I waited at the exit door, hoping to get in when someone was leaving, just to replace my defective bag. The young man that served me, saw me & showed me how to open the door. I went to him & explained my issue. He very nicely said, put that bag buy the C,S, desk, please get another & it will be fine. This response is exactly what I expected, & I did exactly that. As the young man was probably new, he needed to double check with C.S. Which I anticipated, but, neither the young man nor I expected the answer. There were at least 5 customers in line & the Blonde woman said that I would have to wait in line to exchange it. WHAT!?
The young man looked at me apologetically, as he could do nothing, & I paused, thinking I would get him in trouble.....I then looked again at the line up, thought about the defective bag, I had done the replacement myself, & decided, that I & the young man, were completely correct. We were doing nothing wrong.
Just thought I would give you some feed back, that young man is a Great Employee

My wife and I were at the Kapuskasing store and again Linda came to our aid with the info to get what we wanted, it seemed everything on our list was where we were not looking, even though Linda was busy she took the time to ensure we got what we needed.

We had a oil change job done

We had a oil change job done on our 2011 Equinox on July 24, 2019 in Regina, Sask. and would like to acknowledge Anna Marie for her help in getting us booked in immediately and Jarred (tech) for doing such a great job on our car.

An employee named Elysse made

An employee named Elysse made a real difference in my day today, May 27, 2019, at the Langley store at 6312 200th St. She lifted heavy objects for me, looked for an item I couldn't find and brought it back.
The Canadian Tire stores are famous for having invisible employees; never around when you need them, but I am really impressed with Elysse and believe she deserves some recognition.
You need more people like this girl.

I was in the Grandview store

I was in the Grandview store on Feb. 11 looking for environmentally friendly salt. i found the last bag and proceeded to the checkout where Hillery proceeded to help me. She checked the bag and said she thought it was on sale. it was not ringing up sale price. She went to check and came back and said the other stores has it on sale so she gave me the sale price and saved me 10.00. I really appreciated the fact that she went out of her way to help me and she was friendly and professional. You need more people like her.My receipt #is 8215-4060-40100-110
