Nissan North America, Inc. (\u201cNNA\u201d) held responsible for the continuously variable transmission (\u201cCVT\u201d) in its Class Vehicles causing poor transmission performance, malfunctioning, or failures. A group of individuals, called \u2018Class Representatives\u2019 in the interest of the other claimers, and themselves, took stands against this violation of various state consumer protection laws, practiced by the company, and put it under trial for its fraudulent involvements in the Warranty amendments. Subsequently, the defender (\u201cNNA\u201d) lives in denial of causing any sort of damage to the Plaintiffs and their associates, and so the court is undecided as to who holds the ground, firm. Finally, the Nissan Rogue Pathfinder QX60 CVT Settlement resolves the lawsuit by obligations that favor the owners and the Plaintiffs. This class-action settlement<\/a> gives either an extension of the New Vehicle Limited Warranty applicable to the transmission for the Class Vehicles; reimbursement for Class Members who paid for qualifying CVT repairs or replacements, or a Voucher towards the purchase or lease of a new Nissan or Infiniti vehicle.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Eligibility for Making Claim:<\/strong>\u00a0The eligibility for this class action lawsuit requires a qualifying purchase or lease of a 2014-2018 model year Nissan Rogue, 2015-2018 model year Nissan Pathfinder or 2015-2018 model year Infiniti QX60 vehicle equipped with a CVT in the United States or its territories (incl. Puerto Rico).<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Proof of Purchase:<\/strong>\u00a0Provide necessary proofs of your qualifying purchase only if required to receive the benefits from the lawsuit.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Potential Claim Amount:<\/strong>\u00a0The eligible Class members could be advanced with one of the following benefits if the Settlement is approved:<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Warranty Extension:\u00a0Nissan will extend the terms of the New Vehicle Limited Warranty for the transmission assembly (including the valve body and torque converter) and Automatic Transmission Control Unit (\u201cATCU\u201d) in all Class Vehicles by 24 months or 24,000 miles, whichever occurs first (the \u201cWarranty Extension\u201d) as follows:<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
