PrettyLittleThing, BooHoo, and NastyGal are online shopping platforms offering trendy fashion accessories. They might use reference prices during product advertising. However, three class action lawsuits have been filed against the fashion companies claiming that the reference prices weren\u2019t regular or original. Class members pointed out that the website\u2019s reference prices were inflated intentionally to dupe customers into thinking they have bagged a good deal. This caused customers into spending money that they wouldn\u2019t have spent otherwise for purchasing items they wouldn\u2019t have purchased otherwise and\/or for spending more for items they would have if there wasn\u2019t any deceptive marketing.<\/p>\n
