Consumers have an affinity towards natural food seasonings and try to avoid artificial ingredients. Though McCormick didn\u2019t agree to the claim, a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sweepstakesbible.com\/blog\/category\/settlement\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">settlement<\/a> was reached wherein they agreed to modify the labeling of the 29 products and sell the remaining stock with their original labels. They are also under an obligation to honor the claim of Class Members according to the following guidelines.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Eligibility For Making Claim:&nbsp;<\/strong>Purchasing the following McCormick products labeled as<strong>&nbsp;<\/strong>\u201cnatural\u201d or \u201call-natural\u201d within Jan. 1, 2013, and Sept. 23, 2021, makes you eligible to apply for claim action settlement:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>McCormick Perfect Pinch Mexican Seasoning<\/li><li>McCormick Perfect Pinch Fiesta Citrus Seasoning<\/li><li>McCormick Perfect Pinch Rotisserie Chicken Seasoning<\/li><li>McCormick Perfect Pinch Southwest Seasoning<\/li><li>McCormick Perfect Pinch Roasted Garlic and Bell Pepper Seasoning<\/li><li>McCormick Perfect Pinch Savory All Purpose<\/li><li>McCormick Gourmet Bourbon Spiced Pork \u2014 Recipe and Seasoning Mix<\/li><li>McCormick Gourmet Creamy Parmesan and Sun Dried Tomato Penne \u2014 Recipe and Seasoning Mix<\/li><li>McCormick Gourmet Garlic &amp; White Wine Chicken Scaloppine \u2014 Recipe and Seasoning Mix<\/li><li>McCormick Gourmet Herbes de Provence Chicken and Potatoes \u2014 Recipe and Seasoning Mix<\/li><li>McCormick Gourmet Smoked Paprika Chicken Taco \u2014 Recipe and Seasoning Mix<\/li><li>McCormick Gourmet Smoked Sausage &amp; Pepper Creole Jambalaya \u2014 Recipe and Seasoning Mix<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Proof Of Purchase:<\/strong>&nbsp;Claimants are not under obligation to submit a proof of purchase for making the claim. They can provide a point-of-purchase receipt secured from a third-party retailer establishing the date of purchase within the Class Period and in the United States.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Potential Claim Amount:&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>On submitting proof of purchase, Class Members will be eligible to receive a compensation of $1 for each covered product purchased by them with no upper ceiling on the number of products that can be claimed.<\/li><li>Class Members who fail to submit a proof of purchase are eligible to receive $1 for each covered product up to a maximum of 15 products purchased by them.&nbsp;<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Case Summary:<\/strong>&nbsp;McCormick is engaged in the manufacture of various products like recipe mixes, spices, food colorings, and extracts. The company wrongfully labeled its products as \u201cnatural\u201d for spiking up its price given the rising demand for natural products. This led to the filing of a 2016 class-action lawsuit by the plaintiffs. Though the company has straight cut denied all allegations, the court ruling has not yet been passed in favor of any party. Money from the $3 million McCormick all-natural products settlement fund shall be distributed amongst the Class Members after deducting attorney\u2019s fees and related expenses.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Claim Form:<\/strong>&nbsp;&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.mccormicksettlement.com\/submit-claim.php\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">https:\/\/www.mccormicksettlement.com\/submit-claim.php<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Deadline for Submitting Claim<\/strong>: 90 days following the receipt of final approval by the settlement which comes approximately to 04\/11\/2022.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Final Hearing Date<\/strong>: 01\/11\/2022<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Settlement Pool<\/strong>: $3 million<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Important Note<\/strong>: The final payment amount is subject to proportional adjustments based on the number of valid claims filed.
