The lead plaintiffs have accused R&amp;B Sales and Marketing Inc. and Techtronic Industries North America Inc. of breaching both California labor law and the federal Fair Labor Standards Act. They have alleged that the companies performed multiple violations as listed below:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>They failed to offer adequate meal breaks or compensate for failure to provide the same.<\/li>\n<li>They failed to pay overtime to employees who worked for more than 40 hours weekly and were non-exempt from overtime.<\/li>\n<li>They failed to timely provide <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sweepstakesbible.com\/blog\/tags\/unpaid-wage-and-hour-lawsuit-settlements\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">wage statements<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li>They failed to offer adequate rest breaks or compensate for failure to offer the same.<\/li>\n<li>They failed to pay full wages on the termination of an employee.<\/li>\n<li>They failed to maintain payroll records accurately.<\/li>\n<li>They failed to pay timely wages on the termination of an employee.<\/li>\n<li>They failed to pay employees for reporting time.<\/li>\n<li>They failed to reimburse employees for business expenses incurred by them.<\/li>\n<li>The companies didn\u2019t comply with unfair competition laws and violated the California Labor Code Private Attorneys General Act.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>R&amp;B Sales and Marketing Inc. and Techtronic Industries North America Inc. have agreed to offer a settlement to the employees for avoiding the costs and risks of continued litigation although they do not admit any wrongdoing. The class members are eligible for cash payment under the settlement terms.
