An awesome free-to-enter competition is up for gamers with great prizes. It’s Halo 4 Infinity Challenge on Xbox LIVE hosted by Virgin Mobile and Xbox LIVE. Ready to rack up points in War Games and the number of Spartan Ops chapters to compete with other players for winning fantastic Halo-themed prizes; the more you play games, the more chances you can get to go up on the game’s leader boards. The highest scored War Games leader board winner will take a UNSC-themed, 2013 V8-powered Ford F-150 SVT Raptor truck at home or choose an alternate cash prize of $25,000; while the Spartan Ops leader board’s winning player will get 2-minute appearance into a future Halo title plus a trip to Microsoft Studios. It's holiday time then take advantage of your free time and jump into Halo 4's frenetic multiplayer and get rewarded with the chance to win thrilling prizes.

Limit: Players must have reached at the age of majority in the jurisdiction in which they reside (19 in AL, 18 in all other U.S. states) at the starting of the Tournament. Entry limit is not specified in this challenge.

Actually, the Halo 4 Infinity Challenge combines two different phases: one for Online Qualifier phase (from December 17, 2012 to January 10, 2013) another one is Online Finals phase (from January 12, 2013 until January 19, 2013).

The interested individuals who decide to enter into the sweepstakes initially access the challenge URl, halo4infinitychallenge.com and complete the registration for a Virgin Gaming account and the Halo 4 Infinity Challenge before January 10, 2013 at 11:59 pm.

Next step is to participate in the tournament and for that you have to log into the Xbox 360 game console and play the Halo 4 Game either in War Games Mode or Spartan Ops Mode with a Gold subscription. Then, you will get two leader boards: a War Games leader board to compete with-in the Infinity Challenge powered by Virgin Gaming playlist option and a Spartan Ops leader board to compete with-in the Find Game (matchmaking) option. In a War Games leader board, all accumulated game scores in the Virgin Gaming playlist option will add up towards the leader board; while for every Spartan Ops chapter completed, one point will be given to player. You can complete the Chapters more than once for multiple points.

Note down that your Scores or Points will not transfer between leader boards. At the ending of the game, the earned score/points will be showed on the leader board related to the game mode used.

At the closing stages of the Tournament Qualifying Period, all players of leader board will be separated into 3 groups on the basis of obtained scores throughout the Tournament Qualifying Period.

The top 10% of players will be competed into the Tier 1, then next 30% into the Tier 2, and the remaining 60% into Tier 3 to compete in the Online Final tournament.

Now turn to Online Finals, during this phase all scores will reset and finalists highest scored players will be able to play the Game in their used Game Mode to compete for a chance to win prizes in their related Tier. The Online Finals phase will end on January 19, 2013 and that time all finalists will be ranked in each Tier by sponsor on the basis of received score.

In the Finals, the top scored finalist of Tier 1 in both Game Modes will be announced the grand prize winner; while the remaining finalists will deserve for rank-wise prizes that listed below.

Grand Prizes:

War Games Grand Prize (1): The winner of this War Game mode will receive one 2013 UNSC Themed Ford F-150 Raptor SVT Truck, valued up to $73,982.30. Otherwise he/she can also choose option to claim to receive $25,000 USD cash prize in lieu of 2013 UNSC Themed Ford F-150 Raptor SVT Truck.

Spartan Ops Grand Prize (1): A Spartan Ops Game mode’s grand prize winner will be awarded with a trip pack to Microsoft Studios and CGI integration of winner into a future Halo title. The $ 10,875 valued trip pack consists of round-trip air and ground transportations and hotel accommodation.

This weekly Challenge includes a total of five weekly challenges that start each week between December 17, 2012 at 12:00 AM and January 19, 2013 at 11:59 PM. All you have to do is one time registration before January 13, 2013 and then log into your Xbox 360 game console and play Halo 4 in War Games mode with a Gold subscription. First 20 players who finish one or more of the five challenges within the related week will be determined as prize winner. You have a chance to be one of 100 winners (20 per Week) to win great prize.
