Get Out of the Garage Contest 2014

Difficulty Level : Very Hard ( 4 out of 5 ) Do you have the ability to compose music or love to compose different pieces of music? Then submit a musical composition written and controlled primarily by you in the Get Out of the Garage Contest 2014 and you could win $25,000 Cash, performance on Jimmy Kimmel live! 3 - song EP recorded at the Converse Rubber Tracks Studio, Free worldwide digital distribution from TuneCore, Music Video, Gear and more.

Limit: Entrants may submit up to five Submission videos. The entrant must are at least 18 years of age or older at the time of entry.

Entrants must be registered members of YouTube in order to enter the Contest. To enter, Visit www.guitarcenter.com/getoutofthegarage and navigate to the Contest registration page. Choose the ''Get Started Now'' sign-up button complete the form with Entrants channel name, Entrant's performing/band name, the first year started, Entrant's mailing address and phone number. The Designated Agent will also have to enter his or her name), a valid email address, gender, DOB, and create a password and agree the Official Rules of the Contest and TOU prior to proceeding.

Once the registration form has been completed and submitted, the Designated Agent must enter the names of all current members of the musical group (if a group), and must upload the Submission onto YouTube, then copy and paste the video's YouTube URL into the Contest platform Channel Manager to display the video in Entrant's timeline.

Video must remain on Entrant's YouTube account and in the Contest platform #1 spot, and must meet the submission criteria and Submission Requirements given in official rules.

Winner selection will occur in two stages, as describe in official rules. Winners will be selected by the Judging Panel based on the overall performance, authenticity, technique, originality, and style. Potential Finalists will be notified on or around January 2015, by telephone and/or email.

Five Finalist Prizes: Each will receive one trip to Brooklyn, NY to perform live at Converse Rubber Tracks Studio in February 2015 or March 2015 and compete for a chance to win the Grand Prize.
